Our brand new British Wood Briquettes are a high quality UK produced wood briquette. Made from locally sourced sawmill residue these are an excellent choice for those with sustainability in mind.
As these briquettes are shorter we’re finding that they are suitable for a wider range of stoves without the need to break them. They will expand when burning but this expansion is a lot less than others heat logs or briquettes we’ve tried. This is due to the raw material used in the production process and also down to how compacted the briquettes are.
Each pack contains 5 briquettes, the briquettes weigh around 2kgs each depended on the moisture content at the time of production.
We’ve achieved around 2 hours burn time when using on an established fire. They can stay glowing for around another hour after this giving a total glow time of around 3 hours. As always the burn time and glow time can vary on the stove they are used in and how the stove is being used. This burn time is an average achieved over a number of weeks trialling them on various stoves.

STOVE GLASS – We do not hold stock, this is ordered with our supplier at the time of order, please allow 5-7days for delivery, delivery charges will apply whether for click & collect or delivery to you.
BEAMS – All beams are special order and are subject to the manufacturers leadtimes at point of order. 2-6weeks normally.
